parallel, and most of them, like the Gnome Software center are using C - He
will be really proud to have you on board.

Normally for that you'd want to work in the upstream projects rather than
Fedora. There is some software for which Fedora is upstream, though I am
not sure hoiw much of that is written in C. You could see if the
infrastructure team has any projects written in C that need maintenance or
that they are looking to add features to.
Otherwise I think you'd be better off looking for an application you use,
that is written in C (or perhaps C++) and work with the upstream project.
