Great! The mockups for KDE are here:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Website_redesign_2009/Mockups/Spins.fpo#Spins
_Details:_Home_Page
The KDE spin was the spin I was most concerned about because Rex and
Kevin had concerns about the whole redesign, so I had gone ahead and
generated some content early on for it to save them the hassle. If
there's any content in those mocks you'd like to modify or add to though
please feel free. The one catch is the 'About KDE' tab is just filler,
if you have anything in particular to add there, cool - if not the tab
isn't really necessary as most spins won't have that tab. I just added
that mockup to show you could do a little screenshot tour there if you
wanted.
The templates haven't had the html/css worked out yet. I think sijis or
hiemanshu may be working on that but I am sure they would appreciate
some help. They both hang out in #fedora-websites.
With templates I thought content for example for "Support" tab - I think it
should be same around all spins (+ some extensions to it). Same for "Home"
page - what kind of information do you expect it there? Short "marketing" like
paragraph with the screenshot probably, I'd like to use "About KDE" for more
detailed tour, I have some ideas what we'd like to show, some screenshots
ready so...
And for other areas I have few ideas and I see you had the same ones ;-) But
now I'd like to concentrate on setting it up on time and we can extend it
later.
I've set up wiki page and few KDE SIG members are already working on it.
Thanks
Jaroslav
Thank you so much!
