I think I may have the same problem as you: it will be interesting to
see if upgrading to F25 helps or not. I am not sure whether it is a
hardware or software problem.
When coming back to my desk I usually have to plug in the monitor
cable half-dozen times these days for the gnome desktop to move to my
monitor...
Yes, this sounds very similar. It _seems_ to have gotten better over the
past few days so maybe an update has mostly resolved it. I'm a bit
hesitant to upgrade to F25 just yet as I'm really starting to feel my
"groove" with F24.

ps T440* was kind of a disaster anyway with no physical mouse buttons. :-(
So stay away if you can IMO though otherwise it works well enough.
