Hi,
As we try to create an official Fedora release video, I thought I will
try to reach one of my old contact at Centaurimusic.com, and request a
bunch of songs for our purpose. I did it earlier, and they are really
open this, just last time I had run out of time.
Also if it's possible, then I try to have full centaurimusic.com
download section for our Fedora JAM spin (music authoring remix) for
content work, for practice. But I will be really happy if I only get
just few songs only.
My question is, can we do an banner exchange, or something between
Fedoraproject.org main site and centaurimusic.com in return of songs?
What are the conditions, and can I offer such?
Zoltan

Hi all,
For the last few days me and Zoltan were working on Fedora 19 Video.
We appreciate your feedback as that would help us to make this better
before releasing it finally.
Although we are still looking for a good track which we could use, any
suggestion would be of great use.

Hi!
We are getting closer (I hope) to Fedora 19 release date - the Go/No-Go
and readiness meetings are this Thursday and it seems GA release notes
are still empty [1]. It would be great to have at least a draft for
Readiness meeting.

It seems the identi.ca -> Twitter connection that's configured in
identi.ca doesn't seem to be working. It looks like it broke sometime
in between when F19 Beta came out and yesterday. Is there anyone (I'm
looking particularly at stickster and rsuehle) that has direct access
to @fedora on twitter that can tell me if the password has been
changed recently or if identi.ca is still in the "authorized apps" in
the twitter account settings?
I wonder if it could also be related to the conversion to pump.io this week ?

Hi!
Adam pointed out that some of the installation 'Ad Banners' are not
very appropriate for Fedora to be shown to users [1] and Spot confirmed
in the bug that HAL one is just placeholder. So we have two options - to
remove at least HAL one (or maybe even the Beefy one) or try to create
new ones before the release (and we don't have much time...).
Another question is - and it's really up to Design and Marketing - do we
want to block on shipping a new banners/or removal of the inappropriate
ones (or even better - do Design/Marketing think it's an issue at all)?
I've already created Design Team ticket [2].

Hi all,
I just opened a pair of tickets in the fedora design queue for two of
the website banners for Fedora 19.

From a marketing perspective, we need to know what the featured spin /
remix will be, and what the featured feature will be.
In f18, we had anaconda as the featured feature, and KDE as the featured
spin.
A few ideas is to target "makers" with this release and go with pidora
as the featured remix, and 3d printing as the feature.
Another good candidate for the feature is openshift origin. Is there a
spin targeted at developers that might pair well with openshift origin?
Discussions are currently taking place in the tickets above, and
marketing input would be greatly appreciated!
thanks from the design team,
