Minor edits needed in an article (PostgreSQL 9.5)
by Honza Horak
hey,
there are some minor things to fix in the article [1], I'd like to
kindly ask any editor to fix those..
First is reported as a comment:
"link wiki (/https//fedoraproject.org/wiki/PostgreSQL) is incorrect"
But there are two other typos:
$ sudo dnf install docker # systemctl start docker
should be
$ sudo dnf install docker
$ sudo systemctl start docker
and similarly:
$ sudo mkdir data # chown 26:26 data
$ sudo chcon -t svirt_sandbox_file_t data
should be:
$ sudo mkdir data
$ sudo chown 26:26 data
$ sudo chcon -t svirt_sandbox_file_t data
Sorry for not catching it before.

Pitch: Articles about MariaDB (News, Basics, Galera repl.)
by Honza Horak
Hey,
similar to PostgreSQL articles (that now wait for review) I'd like to
write articles about MariaDB (and mention MySQL as well). Since writing
everything to one article would be too long, I'm thinking about writing
three articles instead:
Quick-start with MariaDB and MySQL in Fedora 24
* basic introduction and practical example how to install and run
MariaDB, creating a user and a database, and how to do the same in container
News in MariaDB 10.1 in Fedora 24 and how to upgrade
* upgrading steps and new features in latest version
Tutorial for Multi-master Replication in MariaDB 10.1
* practical example how to run MariaDB in multi-master deployment and
some general info about this kind of replication
Does it sound like a good idea?

Request access to be able to draft posts for Fedora Magazine
by pamfeuer S
Hi,
I'm Pamir(pam). Im from Mumbai(India). I am an open source evangelist
and love using linux and the tools that come with it.
I have used inkscape, gimp and blender in a corporate environment.
I had used fedora core 2/3/4 a long time ago and switched over to
mandrake linux...the story goes on from there.
I'm back to using fedora since 23. Gnome shell has become very stable,
responsive, tear free(under X and gallium). I use only AMD stuff...because
I'm a technology partner and love radeons.
I'm a professional gimp and inkscape user and beginner blender
user(although I have been using blender for 2 years).
I am currently learning maya..
I had developed full websites in the past using only gimp, inkscape and
nano...my current choice of editor is atom at the moment.
I would love to write articles on how to use fedora and the tools it
offers in corporate environments and professional multimedia.
I RHCE 5.0 certified and worked in the past as a system and network
administrator.
I am currently learning python and know bash(intermediate).
I use Darktable, gimp, rawtherapee for photography.
I would love to write articles on professional photography using open
source tools.

What's new in Xfce for F25?
by Justin W. Flory
Hello all,
This email is being sent on behalf of the Marketing team in regards to
the upcoming Fedora 25 release.
We're in the process of generating talking points…
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_25_talking_points
…about what all is new in the different editions and spins of Fedora. As
members of the Xfce SIG, we would like to know what all is new and
coming up in the latest versions of Xfce for F25. A few bullet points
about anything that's new is all that's needed. This can be added
directly to the wiki page or you can reply to this email with the
information, and we'll add them to the wiki.
If you have info or knowledge about what's new in Xfce, please let us
know in time for the Alpha release announcement - if emailing, please
reply to the Marketing list or email me directly. Thanks all!

[Infra Request] Twitter access
by Brian Proffitt
All:
Thanks to Patrick's diligence, we have all of the social media accounts'
passwords gathered together and placed into safe keeping.
Unfortunately, I have found a problem... in the past, with the Fedora
Twitter account (@fedora) managed with HootSuite, I was able to generate
monthly analytics reports for the channel. Now, with @fedora access only
granted with TweetDeck, I am not able to do this. TweetDeck has no
analytics tools and using the native Twitter analytics is not possible with
direct access to the @fedora login information.
So, with hat in hand, I would like to ask for access to the @fedora account
for HootSuite. I would lock the channel up so that only I would have access
to the channel. To further secure it, I could ask Patrick to log into my
HootSuite account and connect the @fedora channel himself to my account, so
I would never actually see the password information.
Sorry to flip on this, but I was not aware Tweetdeck no longer had analytic
tools.
Feedback welcome!

Fedora 25
by Benson Muite
Hi,
If any of you use Fedora Atomic as a desktop, could you add a brief overview
of why and how (workflow) you do so here:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_25_talking_points
For the typical Fedora workstation user, what is needed to migrate to Fedora
Atomic as a desktop? Does this make it easier to use remote cloud resources?
Thanks,
Benson
