I attended the marketing talk at the Southern California Linux Expo...
http://www.socallinuxexpo.org/scale9x/presentations/two-girls-one-talk-thelm...
The following question came to my mind 2 days after seeing that talk.
The spreadubuntu.org website was mentioned but spreadfedora.org was not mentioned.
While the spreadfedora.org site seems to be on message, the content looks stale. A 'whois' reveals that domain name is not registered to Red Hat Inc. Nonetheless, the site appears to be owned by a fan of Fedora. Is this a good opportunity for cooperation with the marketing team so that spreadfedora.org can spread?
Does anybody know what happened to spreadfedora.org ?
Thanks,

In this context we should also talk about spreadfedora.com. It's held by RedHat but not connected/serving no website.
I think it's a good idea to use such domains for campaigns, maybe together with an upcoming release. It should not be too much work to brainstorm some ideas like revenues for getting non-ambassadoral Fedora fans to spread the word about Fedora (or something similar). I remember slightly a the campaign Mozilla had some years ago with spreadfirefox.com. There you could collect points or so (please correct me if I'm wrong).
On the other hand I hesitate on doing such a big thing right now. The marketing schedule for F15 seems to be full enough: http://rbergero.fedorapeople.org/schedules/f-15/f-15-marketing-tasks.html
