See https://fedorahosted.org/famsco/ticket/373
The idea is to transform FAmSCo into Fedora Outreach Steering Committee, representing and coordinating Ambassadors, Marketing, Design Team (which is responsible for branding), and support efforts like Ask Fedora and even Documentation and Web. It would also include areas of the new Fedora.next Working Groups which touch on these areas — branding, marketing, conference attendance in support of a particular product, and etc. (Not to _rule_ them, but to coordinate and enable.)
What do you think?
[I'm multi-posting this to several lists, btw]

Would all Fedora contributors (CLA+1) be allowed to vote? IIRC it is limited to ambassadors for now

We would certainly want to make it broader than that; it could be either CLA+1 or membership in specific named groups. I guess I lean towards letting people with CLA+1 self-select.

FAmSCo elections have not been ambassadors only for some time already. Just candidates need to be ambassadors. If FOSCo is created I think it will be natural to open the candidatures to members of other relevant teams: marketing, design, documentation,...
