Subject: [Marketing] Article about SELinux on Fedora Magazine
Hi guys,
I'd like to introduce you to each other.
Paul Frields is an editor of the Fedora Magazine. Based on search engine queries, he put
together a pitch for an article about SELinux.
The key points are:
Why we have SELinux (it's like a valet key for your computer's services!)
What it looks like when SELinux errors happen
Starting the SELinux troubleshooter/alert browser
Using the troubleshooter to follow instructions and fix a policy problem
When done, we should also link this article with another article that covers "how to
disable SELinux." It basically says, "Don't," and points to this
article. ;-)
Lukas Vrabec and Miroslav Grepl, who gave a talk about SELinux at Flock this Wednesday,
agreed they'd like to help write this article.
I'll leave it like this, if you'd like me to get involved, please let me know :)
+100 from me for seeing this all come together! I'd be happy to help in
any way I can from a non-technical side. I assume those at Flock may
need some time to recover, but I'd love to see this come together for a
publication in maybe a week or two.
Thanks for bringing us all on the same page, Natálie!
