Turns out I won't be able to make the Fedora Marketing meeting at all
today, so here is my task update. :)
The Single Source Summary (SSS) is managed by the Docs team, but several
areas of the content need Marketing content/approval.
If you haven't seen it, Paul did a simple diagram that explains the SSS,
available here:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Releases/9/SingleSourceSummary#head-7a661f2...
The current task list is here:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/DocsProject/Tasks/SingleSourceSummary
The particular areas that we need work from the Marketing side are:
* Talking points for release announcements
* Press release material
The tricky part about the press release material is that it may
duplicate other content, but needs to be written in a 'press voice'.
The task on that page has some details about how to do this and keep
content in sync with other parts of the SSS.
The talking points task is explained on that page. That one is timely;
the schedule for the localized release announcements still needs to be
worked out.
Also, if anyone wants to help with the release announcements task, the
content needs to be moved from here to a better location, but this
explains what we did last time:
