Maaf top posting, lagi mobile :)

Re: [Ambassadors] [APAC] The incomming Indonesian Community Conflict
by John Chendra
FYI, the other community under fedora.or.id flag had been going (on and off) since about 2008, around the years where there weren't that much infrastructure could facilitate every needs of any (national) community.
The fedora.or.id team is somewhat far from free democracy, because they're just making sure of the sincerity of everyone who is interested in helping the community. We (the activists) were scattered throughout the vast islands of Indonesia, which probably met only once in a "real world" meetup back in 2008 when I visited. Bandung (where some other members lives).
Recently, we are having troubles with the domain (fedora.or.id) and then redirected to my domain (fedora-id.org). But the problem is now in progress to find a better solution.
As another proof of "existence", the group/forum then moved to facebook, group "fedora.indonesia" as you can see, with 1000+ members. Later on I, myself realized, that this is how the "now" generation communicate; via facebook. Our old mailing list (fedora-id at googlegroups) was already in silence for years, and back then there are more activities in our forum.
As a conclution, I can only hope that for the sake of fedora, those who are now "fighting" can step down and move on in only one community. I can also confirm that the managers of the "old" community are quite busy and maybe our friend Arif and his group were dissapointed with the neglection, but as I said once, building another community is not the correct way/answer to the neglection problem.
The damage is already done, but it takes a big person to calm down and reorganize.

Shall we transfert id.fc.o to your portal?
Couldn't you guys come up with an arrangement? You should keep the
portal gathering the strongest community, and share your experience in
order to grow up!
I know the work behind maintaining a community
website/wiki/planet/blog/facebook/twitter/… (No I am not doing it).
This is HUGE, couldn't you share responsibilities, avoid spare time
and just work efficiently?
I can't imagine that you're only two guys in this community, are there
some discussions on your local mailing list?

Need a Japanese translator
by Tom Callaway
Are there any Ambassadors who are fluent in Japanese and English? I need
someone who can help me understand the context of a portion of a
license, thus I can't use Google Translate.
Please contact me if you can help,

Re: [Ambassadors] Italian Ambassador leaves Fedora (ex Goodbye Fedora (from Italy))
by Gabriele Trombini
Maybe this mail has gone unnoticed, to the most of You.
I think that if one of the Ambassadors leaves the project
with this words:
"While I realize how little it can import to most of those who read, I
reiterate that I let Fedora as a gesture of utter disapproval of the
project management."
we got a problem.
Sharing the project is a free choice of each one, and Alexjan can leave
in every moment, but his doubt about the project managment makes
me think about.
Who is the "project management"? Maybe the Fedora organization is
complicated to understand?
In effect this words may mean that suggest changes is not so easy:
"For a while, I tried to make my contribution to change this, but this
was not possible."
Well this is a lone voice, but I'd like think that it will be the only and we
can't accept that this is reason for leaving the project.
Ciao Alexjan.
