Hi,
Thank you for this info, I'm planning several short presentations about
Fedora Project at the University of Galati, Romania, and I did not know from
where / how to get Fedora 11 CDs / DVDs.
Valente
crossposted also to the famsco list as a heads up
i want to put the current Ambassador mentoring and membership process up
to dicussion - if i see the solid base of mentors we have today, we
should consider to give the mentors sponsorship rights.
We shaped the current process in the past to remove the workload from a
FAmA represented by a single person and to separate the
"quality"-evaluation from the administrational/initial barriers and
formalism. I think this is perfect in place now.
With the current process the *last step* of a mentor is, that he gives
his *thumbs up in the tickets system* . After that, the FAmA sponsors
the candidate in FAS and closes the ticket. I think we should give the
Mentors who are doing the hard mentoring work, the recognition to
sponsor their own candidates.

Hi everyone,
I am glad to announce that the release party of Fedora 19 was successfully
organized in Hanoi, Vietnam last week. We talked and discussed many topics
related to Fedora project, its sub-project and other interesting topics
such as FOSS. Especially, we helped a lot of participants join Fedora to
start contributing to the project.

Please join us for our weekly FAmNA meeting this Tuesday at 9:00pm
Eastern in #fedora-meeting on irc.freenode.net.
I'd like to remind everyone that it is important for us to get some work
accomplished at these meetings and staying on the topic is important
to that end. All comments are welcome from ambassadors during the
meetings but please wait until the Open Floor to add any subject
matter not included in the meeting agenda via a ticket.
Feel free to add to the agenda. The easy way to add an agenda item is
described at the bottom of this announcement. Especially if you have
an event coming up that needs some attention.
This week's meeting leader: *** insert your name here ***
I am unlikely to be online this evening so please feel free to grab
the reins and run the meeting tonight without waiting for me. Thanks

I'm currently on holiday, if I can make it I will. Hopefully, as I've a bit to report from the event at the weekend just gone.
