Subject: [Ambassadors] Travel planning for FUDCon Milan
I've had several people ask me about the status of the hotel and other
travel logistics for FUDCon Milan, so here's a quick status update for
those who are attending.
The hotel we've selected is the UNA Hotel Mediterraneo in Milan.
Don't feel like you have to stay at that hotel -- that's simply the
hotel that we're selected for people who have been granted travel
subsidies. From what I understand, it's about a ten or fifteen minute
walk from the University where we are having FUDCon. The hotel has
offered us a special price of 86 Euros per night for a
double-occupancy room. If you'd like to stay at the same hotel, feel
free to contact them directly and tell them you're part of the Fedora
group.
More information about the hotel can be found at
http://www.unahotels.it/en/una_maison_milano/hotel_milan_centre.htm.
Great, thanks!
If you're receiving a travel subsidy to attend FUDCon Milan,
your
hotel room has already been reserved for three nights (30 September -
03 October). If you need a copy of your reservation in order to
obtain a travel visa, please let me know as soon as possible so that
I can get this for you from the hotel.
As I mentioned in the Trac ticket #167, I need this along with some
other information to put my file for visa.
Kind regards,
Tuan
