Dear *,
Hi Max,
Sorry for the delay.
FYI, THIS IS WHAT I HAVE SENT TO FOSDEM TEAM :
Dear *,
After having red the Call for Developer Rooms and Stands on the FOSDEM
Web Site, I follow the rule mentioned :
So, :
DevRoom Request
* Project Name : Fedora
* URL of the website of the project :
http://fedoraproject.org
* Description of the project : Fedora is a Linux-based operating
system that showcases the latest in free and open source software.
Fedora is always free for anyone to use, modify, and distribute. It is
built by people across the globe who work together as a community: the
Fedora Project. The Fedora Project is open and anyone is welcome to
join.

* A short description of the activities you plan to do on your
stand : As usual demoing applications, handing out information or
media. Indeed I will keep you in touch as soon as I will have
confirmation from you booth and dev room are reserved to Fedora/Red
Hat/Jboss people
* Whether you would like 2 tables in stead of one, your motivation
for the second one. : We would like two table at least cause last year
and year before it was quite small if you see what I mean. : )
By the way, as I am not in charge of the CentOS part I do not permit
myself to register this dev room as CentOS responsible. Nonetheless,
as we did the previous years I would be happy to share this dev room
with our friends of CentOS.
FYI, I contacted them -Fabian - in order to rule this agreement but as
I wrote above I let them register by themself.
Please, could you send me a confirmation you received this request ?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Thanks to keep me in touch asap.
Cause I need to organize that with the community.

Frederic
THEN THIS IS WHAT THE FOSDEM TEAM SENT ME :
Hi. I did receive your request for Fedora.
We'll contact you for ACK/NACK after the deadline (2008-11-22) but
before 2008-11-30.
cheers

FOSDEM is probably the most developer-oriented
Free and Opensource conference, taking place
in Brussels, Belgium on Saturday 7 and Sunday
8 February 2009. Apart from having many
invited speakers, the conference offers
developer rooms, stands and lightning talks to
projects from the Free and Opensource
community. We hereby welcome proposals from
projects to participate in organizing a
devroom, manning a stand or holding a
lightning talk.
Is Frederic Hornain taking care of this, or should I do it?
Frederic, are you around?
Also, the FOSDEM organizers offered me a talk in the main
track, which also means that my travel and hotel will be paid
for by FOSDEM.
It would be nice if we could know by January 1 who is going to
attend FOSDEM, so that we can plan accordingly for budget, and
hopefully help out with the hotel prices.
