Don't worry Jörg,
I'm pretty sure we understand your motivation and I think we all know
you don't want to flame but encourage. And personally I am very happy to
see you are voicing your opinion again recently.

agreed - having quarterly or reports every 6 month to monitor progress
may be a good signal to the Contributors (not our own Ambassadors but
the other groups) to show them the value of the group and that we create
benefit for the project
Quarterly sounds good!
As the fiscal quarters are two months behind the calendar's quarters,
quarterly reports would give us one month to sort out all the numbers
from the previous quarter. E.g. FY 2012 Q4 lasts from December 2012 till
February 2013 and we would then publish the data with our quarterly
report end of March. Makes sense?
