Xfce 4.16 on EPEL-8

Hi all,

I have a COPR containing xfce 4.16 packages for EPEL-8 packages [0]. I 
would like to get some testing done using this COPR before getting into 
EPEL-8.

Please email if and when you notice problems and I will try to fix it as 
soon as possible.

As a reminder - xfce 4.16 will be available in F34.

Thank you very much, Mukundan, really. There's an issue with xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin: there's no pulseaudio-daemon package in centos 8 so I guess this requirement must be removed.
By the way, in epel the package is the same version so maybe check its spec file.

No match for group package "thunar-archive-plugin"

So perhaps the comps file needs to get cleaned up?

And then possibly new with the copr seems to be:

Problem: cannot install the best candidate for the job
   - nothing provides pulseaudio-daemon needed by 
xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin-0.4.3-5.el8.x86_64

It seems that the Provides was guarded out in CentOS 8 by Wim[1]. Wim,
any chance you could put it back?

Indeed. I just forgot to build thunar-archive-plugin. :(

NetworkManager-gnome just needs to be removed from comps. I will do this.

I need to update a bunch of packages on EPEL-8 anyway.

Ah, this I noticed. Hopefully, this will be fixed on pulseaudio (based 
on Neal's email).

Your xfdesktop package requires desktop-backgrounds-compat which installs f31 backgrounds. xfdesktop 4.14 doesn't require any backgrounds package to be install at all.
Maybe to keep the installation slimmer and also adequate to centos it could require centos-backgrounds instead.

Took me a while to get to this but this is done now.

thunar-archive-plugin in built on epel8/copr
I have submitted a pull request to get rid of nm-gnome from xfce group.

Testing and feedback is appreciated.
