Thunar stops autorefreshing content in F27
by Miro Hrončok
I've juts updated to Fedora 27 and I've realized Thunar does not refresh
content of directory (I have to manually use the F5 key).
Is this something we are aware of, or should I file bugs?

Disk I/O widget is not accurate
by Philip Rhoades
People,
For the last few versions of Fedora (I am on F26 x86_64) now) I have
found the Disk I/O widget has not been accurate - the indicator is
always much lower than it should be. I finally got around to doing a
comparison today and ran my Recoll DB update which always causes the
disk to thrash - with "iostat -d -x --human 5" I can see that this is
case - %util is always jammed at near 100% for /dev/sda - but the
graphical XFCE disk indicator for the same disk is at about 25% most of
the time.
What is the difference between the two indicators? Is there a bug?
Thanks,
Phil.

handling of ssh/gpg agents
by Gour
Hello.
I'm ex-Xfce user who was using Gnome for some time after migrating from Debian
to Fedora at the time of fc25-beta. However, I noticed that there are too many
stuff running on my machine for which I do not have real use, so yesterday I
did migrate (back) to Xfce. Great job!
Very soon I had fully working desktop and was even able to quickly get rid of
Gnome-stuff, replacing Evolution with vdiryncer/khal/khard was the most
sensitive issue...all in all, Xfce is such a wonderful environment providing
much more customization very easily...
However, there is one pending issue which I'm not sure how to resolve...on
Gnome handling of ssh/gpg2 agents were working out of the box, but not sure
what is recommended way to do it on Xfce in order to have my default gpg2 ID
loaded as well as to have persistent ssh-agent so I can access remote servers
without retyping my passwords.
In the past I was happily using keychain (from Funtoo project), but it had
problems running under fish-shell and handling gpg2 agent. In new(er) version
it seems that gpg2 problem is solved, but, apparently, not when using it under
fish shell, so my question is if you have recommendation how to get the same
functionality as under GNOME (gnome-keyring) without pulling too many GNOME
deps?

xscreensaver -no-splash
I can fire up Screen Saver preference, I can preview my screen saver, I
set it for five minutes, no screen saver. Restarting the daemon has no
effect.
How do I get my screen saver to work. It does work on other machines
running Xfce and Fedora 26.
Reproduces on three machines.
Many thanks,
-T
