Upgraded F14 to F15 beta.
Though an upgrade,
is it possible to have Slim obsolete GDM?
No, obsolete - in rpm's understanding - means that all GNOME users get
slim instead of GDM. I'm sure we don't want this.
F14 was originally installed from F14 XFCE liveCD.
yum distro-sync didn't work as all the gnome stuff is in the repos.
yum grouperase "Gnome*D*E*"
yum groupinstall XFCE
hasn't done the trick either in other tests.
still pulls back in GDM + deps.
Because the XFCE group contains GDM as default component. You don't need
to install it, install SLIM or LXDM instead.
