Hi,
in KDE 4.10 migration is not really supported. The best way is to copy over the actual data files (that is .vcard, .ical, local maildir/mailbox if you use it, etc) and then configure the other computer again.
You can find where the data files/directories are in your computer by right- clicking the addressbook or calendar in Kontact and selecting Configure Calendar/Addressbook.
In KDE 4.11 there will be a new utility for exporting and importing PIM settings and data (but I'm not sure how well it would work, there are some technical limitations in KMail and Akonadi that make migration between computers quite complicated).
Cheers, Dan
Thanks
Eli
Thanks for the info..
