WHY do I keep getting these pop-ups notifying me of multiple failed 
attempts to access my wallet? Is something misbehaving or is someone trying 
to hack my wallet?

I was getting this when kmail kept asking for smtp password every time I sent 
mail, and then failed to talk to kwallet properly.

It seems to be gone.  AFAICT, when kmail demanded to see my smtp password, one 
time I told it NOT to store the password, and maybe that fixed it.
