When I click on a mailto link in chrome it brings up kmail and I want us thunderbrid. I did what I've done in the past and used xdg-mime to change the setting.
But this is what I see.....

my 35.8.0 release is from rpm package provided my distribution.
for you to use a release of firefox that is in you native language, you have to pull it from mozilla site because distribution does not release rpms of various languages. at least not that i am aware of.
your posting of sequence with you release of firefox is different from sequence of that used in standard 35.8.0.
someone reading this thread who is not familiar with correct sequence for english, non ms windows release will/may be confused and lost by what you posted.
in no way did i state or infer that you should change to english release. what you know is german release and you should stay with that. but when you post an entry sequence, you should also comment that you are using a german release and state that there may be a difference in sequence so as not to cause confusion.

for you to use a release of firefox that is in you native language, you have to pull it from mozilla site because distribution does not release rpms of various languages. at least not that i am aware of
