Since the advent of 4.4 klipper has been unresponsive for some 10-15 seconds when I create a new link, during which time I can't paste links. Am I right in thinking this is nepomuk related?
For that matter, I find that these days I have to open klipper and select the newly created link before I can paste it. Am I stuck with this one, or is there some configuration setting that would go back to defaulting to the newest item?

No idea, but actually for me I find that klipper responds faster to clicking on the system tray icon then it did before.

Perhaps:
"Synchronize contents of the clipboard and the selection" is what you are looking for?

No, that's set.

I'd doubt that, I can't think of any way klipper is related to nepomuk.

I've experienced the same as you from time-to-time, but have never been annoyed enough to look more into it... yet.

I wondered if it was storing things up to make them available in search.

It's been like this for quite a long time now, and I do find it quite annoying. I'm so used to swipe > locate cursor > middle-click and the job's done.

Same here - it used to be very fast but now there is a very noticeable delay (5-10 sec).
