Hi All
I've been having a weird one. Whenever I open up a file open / save dialog box the files and folders seem to be sorted by name in descending order. After I click on the Header bar or uncheck descending from the dialog box "configuration button > sort" to correct the sort order, then close the dialog box and then reopen the dialog box. The sort order is returns to descending order. Anybody know how I can fix it so one at least the default setting is in ascending order. Better still, to remember my last selection.

Looks like this is a bug with KDE 4.2.2 + Qt 4.5.0, I'm seeing this too, I'll need to check bugs.kde.org to see if this is already filed.

This is https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=186277 which should be fixed in 4.2.3.
