powersave applet not working properly

When I unplug A/C and go to battery - the power applet says the power
profile switches from performance to powesave.

However it doesn't - If click performance (nothing visible changes)
and then click powersave - the screen dims and it seems its now in
powersave.

Without the manual toggle it seems powersave is not actually in play.

Are there known issues with this?

F15 fully updated.

I noticed the same and I'm currently investigating that. However, looking at 
the git changelogs, there doesn't seem to have been any commit that could 
possibly cause this...
