would it be possible to relax some dependencies of "kate"? i love this tool really on servers over X11-forwarding but the whole "kdesdk" and its dependencies are really hughe

Those are all really standard dependancies for any KDE application.

Those are all really standard dependancies for any KDE application
the whole "kdesdk" with 22 MB and "kdepimlibs" with 7 MB and for a extended texteditor konqueror/dolphin is really needed? :-)
sorry but i can not believe that THIS is a minimum requrement and if it could be one package, something is here wrong simply because "kdebase" never should remove "kdebase-libs" as dependency, the other direction i would understand ______________________
