So, are you sure you're providing the proper admin credentials?

ie, if you're an admin (in wheel) group, your user password, else root's

Yes, I'm an admin and I tried my pw.  Trying root pw produced an error 
instead.

Under dnf, it turns out vivaldi cert needed to be imported.
