Cinnamon seems pretty stable sleek and well laid out. I was using LxQT,
but was too busy, etc. I have been checking in on KDE from time to time,
and it's much more stable but still has a ways to go - at least on my
system.

LXQT, it seems, is not yet ready in Fedora. On one system, it didn't setup
network applet. I installed it on this very laptop and menu items are missing.
I am setting up i3 because I can't go from one broken desktop environment to
another one.
