f24 user switching?

I tried testing for 
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/1293167

today, and found user switching to be mostly broken, in that the session I 
switched away from either is killed or still seems to be running, but I 
cannot seem to be able to resume it.

Does kickoff -> leave -> switch user

work for anyone else?

Seems to be OK here. I usually switch between users after updates to 
test on a
clean profile etc.

I tried various tests, from a single user and starting new session, 
switching users,
logging out of one session/user.

FWIW Desktop machine.

It works for me as well and I did the same tests as Colin.

This is a feature I have never explored but while testing I had no problem.

FWIW I am using a laptop with an external display attached, with the laptop 
being the primary display and the external display the secondary.

The geometry was retained, I say this because initially the external/vga 
display appears on the left while physically is placed on the right side. This 
is by default and with no effort from to configure the X-server. This was even 
a better touch, no need to reconfigure it. :-)

I have had this issue with closed source video driver.  If I create a 
xorg.conf file, I can switch users.  Otherwise just headaches.

I am only on F23 but I had to do that as well.
