The problem is that PackageKit requires PolicyKit. We'd have to start the

I asked them to add polkit-qt/kde to their blocker but no action... I'm trying
to understand changes from patches, source code, docs to prepare quick&dirty
polkit support. But it's not long term solution.
One question: is there
freedesktop.org board?
