Translating manpages
by Dimitris Glezos
Here's a Q: How are manpages translated? Are they translated at all?
If they are translated somehow, how would they be packaged?
I see Debian having a few teams collecting manpages and translating
them via PO files. Sounds like a good meta-distro-project of sorts.

Specific language teams not available - how to join general team
by Edmon Begoli
I want to become an official contributor to Fedora project and I want
to contribute translations of Fedora 12/13
content into Bosnian and Croatian, but I have noticed that although
content has already been translated
to a great degree these two groups of languages do not have mailing
lists nor official teams.
How could I join main Translators team and start contributing
translations on a regular basis?
Thank you,
Edmon

Translations for Hebrew code he_IL (The following line should be read from
Right to left, and it's recommended to align it to right while reading):
יום, יומיים, 3 ימים, 4 ימים, 5 ימים ... 35 ימים.
Please note that Hebrew text should be written (and read) from right to
left.

Release Notes POT files
by John J. McDonough
I updated the POT for the release notes, a little late. however, I now
have it scripted so it will happen automatically for the rest of the
cycle.
The update only takes a few minutes, so I can do it any time. Right now
I have it going early in the morning EDT, but if there is a better time,
it would be no problem for me to change that schedule. Any preference?

New coordinator for Greek team: Pierros Papadeas
by Dimitris Glezos
Hi all.
I'd like to announce that effective today, the Greek team will be
coordinated by Pierros Papadeas (ppapadeas at fedoraproject.org).
Pierros has worked tirelessly and extensively the last years in
organizing the team, has participated in numerous international events
and has coordinated a number of local events as well. Since his
involvement, the Greek team has taken off, and I can easily say that
today it's at its peak. Additionally, Pierros is very active in the
Ambassadors group and the EMEA region.
I couldn't imagine a better person taking the lead of fedora-el than Pierros.
