Proposal: Fedora G11N Steering Committee

Hi All, I am sure, most of the people working with Fedora I18N, L10N from 5-6 year must be aware regarding Fedora L10N Steering Committee. [1] As far as i know this committee was active around 2009 and very effective. During Fedora G11N activity day discussions, we again felt there is need for some kind of official committee to drive Fedora Globalization activities. Fedora is growing faster with number of different domains and G11N also need to adapt those changes quickly to remain on the track. For this purpose and in line with [1], we were thinking of Fedora Globalization steering committee. I have created initial proposal for it. [2] Its open for feedback, please feel free to share other active members, discuss in your respective language groups. This is just initial proposal and i am sure, we can improve and make it more effective with active participation. New Fedora Cloud download page

Dear translation teams, some may have noticed this article about the new Fedora Cloud download page: https://communityblog.fedoraproject.org/fedora-cloud-base-new-home/ Where can you translate it ? https://fedora.zanata.org/iteration/view/fedora-web/alt.fedoraproject.org Current status is : * cs, fr, pl, uk are 100% * ca is almost there with 86% * ja, pt-br, es, de, pt, bg are half-way (from 59 to 40%) Please have fun translating this website, it includes a lot of translation challenges. There is a lot of words related to technologies to may chose to translate or to leave it as-is, depending of your language community practices. Hi all my friend translators Some might notice that my contribution has started decreasing/stopping sometime ago. I still have had regular checks in my inbox and tried my best to address if I was needed. However, now I stop contributing completely, and I will no longer check any mail coming in. I am feeling very sad that this has to happen. It was a pleasure for me to involve Fedora Localization team since it's birth. I had been having a lot of support and help from everyone of you. I had learned a lot from you. It was fun days! I thank you all so much. And I would like to thank you especially Dimitris Glezos and Piotr Drag who have always been with me and helping me but whom I couldn't meet and tell my thank face to face right to the end. What is Transdiff ?

Hi, I'm surprised to see a translation related change for F26, without any public discussion in this mailing list. Here is the proposal: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@lists.fedoraproject.org… The objective looks good, but can't we have an explanation about how it works, whats it does, how it is run and how we may use it ?
