Proposal: Fedora G11N Steering Committee

Hi All, I am sure, most of the people working with Fedora I18N, L10N from 5-6 year must be aware regarding Fedora L10N Steering Committee. [1] As far as i know this committee was active around 2009 and very effective. During Fedora G11N activity day discussions, we again felt there is need for some kind of official committee to drive Fedora Globalization activities. Fedora is growing faster with number of different domains and G11N also need to adapt those changes quickly to remain on the track. For this purpose and in line with [1], we were thinking of Fedora Globalization steering committee. I have created initial proposal for it. [2] Its open for feedback, please feel free to share other active members, discuss in your respective language groups. This is just initial proposal and i am sure, we can improve and make it more effective with active participation. F28 Software String Freeze is today

Today (2018-Feb-27) we have reached the "Software String Freeze" deadline. Beyond this deadline there should not be any changes in strings, ideally. Export of the Glossary from Zanata

FLP general bugs

Hi Recent clean-up by Kevin, I decided to take over default assignee of those components **temporary**. Product Fedora Localization -> Components: * l10n-requests * Other languate * Project Tracking * Website There are seven bugs in total untouched. I've moved three to "closed", three "need info" and one to Fedora/gnome-software. Hopefully all to be resolved shortly. Now I have two questions or favour. 1. Any one, please raise your hand who can take a position of assignee or qa contact for any of those. 2. Any one, please review the descriptions of those components, and confirm or give better expression. 3. Any one, please advise if any of those components is no longer useful thus we can safely delete/remove. Thanks noriko

F28 translation tracking
