libuser doubt

Hi, I have a doubt in the libuser module.

I'm not sure what this strings mean:

#: samples/prompt.c:51
msgid "Prompts succeeded.\n"

#: samples/prompt.c:61
msgid "Prompts failed.\n"

In Spanish it's translated something like the "warnings
succeeded/failed", and in Italian that the "instructions
succeeded/failed" (for what I understood), so I'm a bit confused.

What does exactly "prompt" means here?

It means "prompting the user
to supply some information"
(e.g. hostname of an LDAP server, username or password).
Roughly "a question". "Prompts succeeded" means that asking the
user to supply the information succeded and answers were given.
