Fedora Media Writer translations merge conflict

Hi, Can someone please look at https://github.com/FedoraQt/MediaWriter/issues/645? The repository for Fedora Media Writer cannot now merge changes as there is a conflict. Thank you. Regards, Jan Grulich

I've been using Fedora for over a year and ever since it's been my main operating system and I'm satisfied to use it for my daily activies. I'm a Computer Systems Engineering student and I work in software development and I'm comfortable working in a Unix-like environment. I have several friends that would like to make a switch to a Linux distribution as well as to switch to more appropriate tools for work but sometimes they struggle with the language. I would like to contribute to make information more available for current users as well as to future newcomers. I would like to join the team, help them and suggest improvements. I already have signed the corresponding agreement as well as reaching out the guys at Fedora Localization and started checking out Weblate.

I'm Claire, and I discovered Fedora about a year ago when I needed to choose a Linux distribution for work. It was a bit challenging at first, coming from Windows Subsystem for Linux, but the performance boost I experienced in my daily tasks was truly remarkable. I initially studied filmmaking, but I made the switch to become a software developer a year ago. I can currently speak Spanish, French, and English fluently, and I'm currently learning German, so I hope I can put these skills to use for a great community. I'm really passionate about making information accessible to as many people as possible. Contact / Mailing list for Korean translation team?

Other than https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/L10N/ko page, I cannot find any contact information for the Korean translation team. I would like to join the team and help with the translation and suggest some improvements. Is there a mailing list or such for public communication?

The first time I came across Fedora was about 12 years ago, when a good friend of mine showed me his installation. Back then I used Linux distributions mainly to play around with small home servers and such, but stupid me wasn't "brave enough" to daily drive the penguin on his main hardware. However, I fortunately took the change to migrate a few years ago after my previous OS crashed badly and settled on Fedora after my distro hopping phase. I have an IT background and I'm currently employed in the sw dev / sw testing sphere. But beyond that, I'm also passionate about creating and repairing stuff. Which is why I co-founded a Repair-Cafe and a FabLab in my hometown, including actively working in their management / steering committees at the time. Although I'm quite an introvert, I really like to talk to people about my "passion projects" (e.g. about our FabLab at Maker Faire) and doing other non-technical tasks. Speaking of repairability, I also like to hang around in the Framework Laptop community, discussing tech and helping others. You and the Fedora Project: I enjoy working on the german translations (dnf5 at the moment), and already have some smaller wiki gardening tasks on my personal todo list too. :-) But I'm concentrating on on-boarding myself to L10N, further familiarizing with the overall project (from a contribution perspective), and getting involved. Hello, I'm Adaline!

Hello everyone It's a pleasure to meet you all. My name is Adaline and my pronouns are they/she in English, and hen/ho in Norwegian (hen/hun if you're writing in Bokmål). My native languages are US English, Russian, and Western Armenian, though I have largely forgotten Armenian as a result of not using it and my Russian is a tad rusty. I'm at a CEFR B2 level in Norwegian (according to my teachers, though I also have planned to take the national language test when I visit the country). I'm currently working on getting to a C-level. Nynorsk is the language I use day in and day out on my computer whenever an application supports it. I decided to take a stab at contributing to translations for Fedora since I primarily use Nynorsk on my machine, and that includes the Fedora installations I run. I'd like to increase the translation surface of the Nynorsk localization. While I have not been a contributor to Fedora before, I have been active in the OSS community broadly for a long time, off and on. I am a member of the Stylelint maintainer team, have several packages in the Node.js ecosystem that I maintain, and most recently have been behind Ordbok API ( ordbokapi.org) a public, free, and open source GraphQL API for data from the Norwegian dictionaries. I am also the developer and maintainer of the Discord bot powering language-related functions for the Norwegian Language Learning community (https://github.com/NLLCommunity) I am new to contributing translations and new to Weblate as well. I am most interested in contributing translations that appear most prominently in the desktop GUI experience on Workstation. However, admittedly, I may not know the best places to start. I've gone through the very helpful documentation for joining the internationalization effort, but admittedly it is also a lot of information to take in.
